Approval expected for Reading apartment plan
Reading Borough Council is expected to approve plans for an apartment block on Rowe Court in Reading.
Submitted by Davies Murch and drawn up by Wimshurst Pelleriti for Long Term Reversions (Torquay) Limited, the plans would see a four-storey building built on the site, replacing the three storey, 24 studio/one bed apartments development which was mostly destroyed by an arson attack in December of 2021.
The rebuilding, which would be funded by the insurance provider, would be the same dwelling mix as the previous building. Reading Borough Council’s planning committee have been recommended to approve the plans.
