Reading-based law firm Boyes Turner has appointed Phillip Baldwin as its new dispute resolution partner.
Phillip trained and qualified at a large regional firm in Hampshire before working for two years in the British Virgin Islands undertaking offshore dispute resolution/litigation. He also has experience of property and insolvency related matters having previously been recognised as a “Next Generation Lawyer” in The Legal 500.
At Boyes Turner Phillip will focus on commercial contract claims covering the supply of goods and services, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence claims and asset finance litigation. He will also help clients avoid or contain certain disputes.
Head of dispute resolution at Boyes Turner Rowan Turrall said: “Phillip brings exceptional experience to our team. We are one of the largest dispute resolution teams in the region and with new hires like this we will continue to offer clients the support they need, which could range from advice to avoid disputes, to resolving disputes out of court or running large litigations through to trial.”
