Kate New has joined Osborne Clarke as Partner on its Property Disputes team based in Reading.
The firm's property litigation team has expanded to now include four partners, three legal directors and close to 50 lawyers. Led by Leona Briggs the team represent clients from offices in London, Bristol and the Thames Valley.
Kate New has 15 years experience in the sector and was previously employed at Blake Morgan and Foot Anstey.
Leona Briggs, head of real estate litigation, said: "Property litigation is an exciting practice.
"Kate's experience in sectors including telecoms, retail, investment and housing will complement our existing experience on these areas and will provide new opportunities to grow our fantastic client base still further. We are very much looking forward to having her on board."
Kate joins the two new partners hired by the law firm earlier this month- life sciences patent litigator Trevor Crosse and contentious financial services regulatory specialist Benedict Perowne.
