National law firm Clarke Willmott has become a member of the Brain Injury Group, a network of specialist lawyers providing support to brain injured people and their families.
The firm's team of brain injury solicitors specialise in dealing with the issues that arise from brain injury, such as bringing claims for brain injury compensation and advising on issues relating to capacity, financial affairs, and care. The firm will now help the organisation provide a complete package of support to those who need it.
Chris Thorne (pictured), Head of Personal Injury and Medical Negligence at Clarke Willmott, said: "We’re delighted to be working with the Brain Injury Group, which does fantastic work in helping families access legal, welfare and statutory funding help as well as many other services."
Every year around one million people attend hospital suffering from some form of head trauma or brain injury. A significant number of people will suffer on-going symptoms after head injury, ranging from mild, short-term difficulty with memory, through to severe lifelong cognitive disability.
