IBB Law, a law firm with offices across the Thames Valley, West London and the western Home Counties, advised Ed Taylor and Paul Williams, the management team in the buy-out of Norwegian Log, on the terms of their equity arrangements with Ethos Partners.

The IBB team consisted of Adam Dowdney, Partner, Ami Bhatt, Senior Associate and Nerys Dadey, Trainee Solicitor, in the Corporate & Commercial Team, Richard Devall, Partner and Jasmin Dhillon, Senior Associate in the Employment Team.

Norwegian Log Buildings designs, manufactures and supplies log building supplies to commercial and private customers for uses including garden rooms and holiday lodges.

Adam Dowdney said of the transaction: “We were delighted to act for Ed and Paul on this exciting management buy-out. We have no doubt the buyers will go from strength to strength with their strong leadership skills backed by the investment from Ethos. We wish them the very best for the future.”

The buyout was led by sales director Ed Taylor and contracts director Paul Williams. The transaction facilitates an exit for the founding shareholders, Mark Chatfield and Nick Forrester.
