Dominic Ibbs, a principal lawyer in the private wealth law team has moved from being an “Associate to Watch” to being highly ranked alongside partner, Lucy Wood who leads the team.

Private wealth dispute partners, Matthew Brandis and Craig Williams; and high value residential property partner, Martina Razaq all retain their high rankings.

Chambers HNW Guide notes that the private wealth law team’s, “…technical ability is strong on trusts, as well as overseas matters."

Meanwhile, Lucy Wood, who advises clients on wills and lasting powers of attorney, as well as trust matters and estate administration, is, according to one client, “a credit to the legal profession.” Another says, “Lucy is an exceptional lawyer who has a real ability to keep things moving along and organising things so that the process is seamless. Nothing seems too much trouble and she is excellent at coming up with practical and pragmatic solutions.”

Dominic Ibbs, a qualified notary public, who advises on trusts and estate administration, is reported to be, “an exceptional lawyer who has a real ability to make complex things seem clear.”

According to a client interviewed by Chambers, the private wealth disputes team, “are a safe pair of hands in whom I have confidence to refer clients. They possess very good knowledge of contentious probate but also an ability to deal with and handle other aspects that often arise in such cases, such as property and company law.”

It reports that clients rate Matthew Brandis because he, “…leads a great team, [and], is approachable and inspiring.” Another adds:

"He is someone who listens to your advice and consults you. My experience has always been that his clients have complete confidence in what he does.”

The guide also says that the “outstanding” Craig Williams, represents clients in complex, high-value contentious trust and estate matters. One impressed client explains that:

“He has advised and handled complicated probate issues with great wisdom. He responds immediately to emails and I have complete faith in his ability to deal with my case to a high standard."

The Chambers HNW Guide reports that B P Collins’ high value residential property team is, “…commended for the quality of its client service. The firm often acts for international clients and regularly handles complex deals.”

This is strongly supported by one client who says: “The firm was incredibly professional and prepared for all matters that we were presented with. There was a great level of availability, and great skills were shown in explaining complex dynamics.”

The Guide also says that the team’s partner, Martina Razaq, regularly advises clients, who include banks and high net worth buyers and sellers, on high-value transactions in Buckinghamshire and London.

Senior partner, Simon Deans says: “Another sterling year for B P Collins in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide. We are delighted about how our clients regard our discreet service, exemplary advice and always thinking about a range of factors which will help to safeguard theirs and their families’ futures. Congratulations to all of the teams.”
