Dr Heather Duncan has been appointed as chief clinical officer at Abingon-based healthcare company Isansys Lifecare.

Heather brings strong experience to the role, having worked as a consultant in paediatric intensive care at Birmingham Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for 20 years.

Her specific areas of expertise include clinical service development, quality improvement, risk reduction, and innovation in healthcare.

She said: “I’m thrilled to be joining an industry-leading company like Isansys, that shares my desire to improve patient care through the implementation of novel technologies, such as the Isansys Patient Status Engine (PSE).

“Having worked on high-pressured wards within NHS hospitals, I understand the potential impact such technologies are having, and I’m excited to be joining such a talented and dynamic team.”

Heather's appointment will help Isansys in its ongoing objective to improve patient safety in the Health Sector.
