WaterBear Music College records £2.8m turnover
WaterBear College has reported an annual turnover of £2.8 million up from a £2.1 million turnover the year before.
It was also a record year of sales for the Brighton-based music education group, achieving a 33.3 per cent year-on-year uplift.
Founded in September 2018, WaterBear reported achieving £400,000 in sales in its first year, the 2022 figures represent growth of 600 per cent.
Boasting approximately 400 students, the opening of WaterBear, Sheffield in September 2023 is expected to double this number.
WaterBear, founded by Adam Bushell and Bruce John Dickinson, offers BA (Hons) and master’s degrees. It specialises in one-to-one mentoring, focused class sizes and career development opportunities and offers courses across the full spectrum of music, from song writing and audio production to performance and enterprise/business.
The group recently recently digitised, introducing a full offer of online music BA (Hons) and MA courses which will start in January and September.
