Law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP, which has offices in Reading and Henley-on-Thames, has announced Tim Clark as its new joint managing partner.

Clark takes over the role from long serving joint managing partner Philip D’Arcy, who has been a member of the firm’s management team for nearly 30 years. D'Arcy will continue as head of Blandy & Blandy’s dispute resolution team.

Clark will work closely alongside fellow joint managing partner Jonathan Gater and the firm’s chairman, Brenda Long.

A partner in the firm’s highly-regarded employment team, Clark is an expert in dealing with recruitment, re-organisation and restructuring and experienced in the strategic aspects of large-scale workforce projects. He works closely with the firm’s corporate, commercial and charity specialists.

Brenda Long said: “On behalf of the entire firm, I would like to thank Phil for the dedication and commitment he has brought to the role of joint managing partner, over many years, which has been an important factor in the firm’s long term growth and success.

"Congratulations to Tim, who was a unanimous choice among partners. I have no doubt that his experience and expertise, along with new ideas, will prove to be invaluable as we move forward.”

Clark added: “Blandy & Blandy has grown and evolved tremendously since I joined over 20 years ago. I have really enjoyed being part of that process and am proud of what we have achieved. Working alongside Jonathan, Brenda and the rest of our team, I am now looking forward to helping to lead Blandy & Blandy into the future."
