Celebrating its 80th anniversary, Surrey-based Roffe Swayne Chartered Accountants is set to build on its transaction services with a new director appointment.

Paul Butler joins the firm as director of corporate finance to provide transactional support and financial due diligence. He brings with him expertise in supporting businesses through corporate acquisitions, disposals, management buyouts and funding.

He has acted on numerous capital markets transactions including IPOs, further fund raisings and public company acquisitions on both AIM and the full list.

Mark Leigh, corporate finance partner, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Paul to the team. He is an expert in his field, having spent his career working in the regional markets with a wide range of businesses from start-ups and owner-managed through to listed companies.

"He will play an integral part in expanding the firm’s already well-respected corporate finance team by enhancing the services we are able to offer clients.”

Butler said: “I want to build on my 12 years’ corporate finance experience with Roffe Swayne. The team is in a strong position with an outstanding network of clients and I hope to help accelerate their growth.”
