Osborne Clarke advises Highland Europe on lead investment $96m financing round
Osborne Clarke, an international law firm with offices in Reading, has advised Highland Europe on its lead investment in consumer technology brand Nothing's $96 million seeding round.
The Osborne Clarke team was led by Corporate Partner Robert Wood and senior associates Josephine Healy-Russell and Sian Daly.
Nothing manufactures smartphones, one of which made Time Magazine’s “Best Inventions of 2022''. The company has seven offices world wide and a team comprised of around 450 employees. Nothing also practices sustainable manufacturing when making its phones.

Highland Europe focuses on high-potential technology companies and has invested based on Nothing’s success to date and future potential.
Osborne Clarke has also advised Highland Europe on recent investments across Europe, including Huel in the UK.
This round brings Nothing’s total funding to US$250 million, just as the company crosses 1.5 million products sold.
