Osborne Clarke advises Highland Europe on its investment in Huel
Osborne Clarke, an international law firm with offices in Reading, has advised Highland Europe on its lead investment in Huel’s $24 million funding round.
The Osborne Clarke team was led by Corporate Partner Robert Wood and included Associate Director Robert Pook and Senior Associate Josephine Healy-Russell.
Huel sells a range of plant-based drinks, powders and meal products online, and aims to do so in a way which is sustainable, all fitting within a diet aligned with limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees.
The business, which was valued at $560m in its funding round, is backed by the likes of Idris and Sabrina Dhowre Elba, Grace Beverley and Jonathan Ross.
Highland Europe specialises in supporting scale-ups in making acquisitions to fast-track their product development. The European firm’s investments include WeTransfer, Supermetrics, Plentific, Reachdesk, and Modulr.
