Founding members, Peter Lockett, Ben Cooper, Jon Bonnick and Sam Simpson have been active investors via BPEC and other angel groups in recent years and have also been running the Bristol Private Equity Club Seed operation, investing in Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme opportunities since January 2021.

AIB co-founder Ben Cooper said: “We’re really pleased to launch AIB which will be a major source of angel investment in Bristol and founders will have continuity of access to funding and support from a familiar source, with local angel investors encouraged to join.

"We will grow the membership, and continue to collaborate with the incubators, hubs, and science parks across the region to identify founders seeking investment and support. It's an exciting time for the Bristol investment ecosystem, and we are thrilled to be launching AIB.”

Angel investors, founders and business community people interested in joining and working with AIB should register at www.angelinvestorsbristol.co.uk
