Q Associates, a Newbury-based IT and cloud infrastructure consultancy, has been acquired by global tech solutions firm Logicalis UK&I.

The firm were advised on the deal by the corporate team from South East law firm Moore Barlow.

Founded in 1985, Q Associates offer data management and protection, compliance, and information security solutions to a range of customers in the UK public sector, as well as commercial clients in sectors including finance, legal, transportation, and energy.

Andrew Griffiths, business development director at Q Associates, said: “We’ve worked incredibly hard to build a solid reputation and the interest from Logicalis, a global enterprise, is testament to the success of that endeavour.

“This acquisition is a natural fit for both organisations and will provide clear benefits to our customers through the extended capability and reach of Logicalis. I am very excited by this next stage in our evolution.”

The Moore Barlow team advising on the deal were led by partner Jeremy Over, with assistance from Dean Outten (Solicitor, Corporate), Cherie Lawson (Chartered Legal Executive, Corporate), Chelsea Feeney (Solicitor, Employment) and Alex Watson-Lee (Trainee Solicitor, Corporate). Logicalis was represented by Dorsey and Whitney.
