Begbies Traynor Group expands in south Wales with acquisition of Jones Giles & Clay

Begbies Traynor Group, the professional services firm, which has offices across the south east, has expanded its operations in south Wales with the acquisition of Jones Giles & Clay.

It sees Begbies Traynor welcome four new members to the Cardiff team, including directors Susan Clay and Vaughan Jones, who were the principals of Jones Giles & Clay, and who both, have over 38 years' experience in both personal and corporate insolvency.

Ric Traynor, the executive chairman of Begbies Traynor Group, said: "This is an important step for our practice, bringing in significant hires and increasing our capacity to work with larger clients on complex cases.

Nationally, Begbies Traynor Group noted that it grew 11% in the past financial year and the South Wales team is focused on further expanding its operations through recruitment and strategic acquisitions.
