Sara Marrett, Managing Director of The HR Dept., Worcestershire was absolutely thrilled when she heard that not only had her entry for the NWEDR ‘Celebrating North Worcestershire’ calendar competition been successful but it was to be featured on the cover of the 2020 edition.
“I put a bit of a creative spin on my entry this year, creating a Word Cloud that symbolised all that is great about working in North Worcestershire. I’m delighted the judges liked it and was very proud to see my winning entry on the final printed versions!”
Part of The HR Dept.’s national network, Sara provides HR services for businesses across Worcestershire, including Worcester, Kidderminster, Droitwich and Bromsgrove. One of the ways in which Sara can help is through a free ‘HR Health Check’ where she will review a business’s existing contracts of employment, policies and procedures. Often, small changes made here can help prevent larger problems in the future.
“Having a firm foundation of clear policies and up to date procedures is critical in the effective management of employees,” says Sara. “I would recommend that these be reviewed on a regular basis.”
