Edgars, the Oxfordshire-based planning consultancy, has promoted three planners to senior planners. Alex Edge, Hugh Shepherd and Iain Summerwood have been promoted as part of the 14-strong business’ continued growth strategy.Alex Edge started his career at Leicester City Council and joined Witney-based Edgars three years ago in 2016 as a graduate planner. He specialises in development management, heritage proposals and planning feasibility appraisal.
Hugh Shepherd joined Edgars in March 2019 from Peter Brett Associates. He started his planning career in the public sector before moving to the private sector. Shepherd’s experience includes development management, local plans, planning appeals and heritage proposals.
Iain Summerwood joined Edgars in May 2019. He began his planning career in the public sector, working within a Borough Council to the west of London. Summerwood then gained a further four years’ experience within a multi-disciplinary built environment firm. Iain has experience in development management, planning applications, planning appeals and land promotion.
