South Coast law firm Churchers Solicitors has been named Hampshire Law Society’s Small Firm of The Year for the second consecutive year.

Churchers Solicitors, which has six offices across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, was recognised for excellence in training, development and welfare of staff; growth in reputation, appreciation and recognition by clients and other firms, and contribution to both the legal and local community.

This marks the fourth consecutive award win for the firm, which took home the same award last year and in 2015, and received the same recognition from the Isle of Wight Law Society in 2016.

Churchers Solicitors’ managing partner Ian Robinson said: “We are immensely proud to have been awarded this accolade. The team is always thrilled to be recognised for the work we do across the South Coast.

“We have an incredible team at Churchers, who all work extremely hard to provide great service to our clients and create a brilliant working atmosphere. We look forward to seeing what new opportunities come our way in the future.”

Churchers has a South Coast heritage of more than 130 years, and is firmly rooted in its local communities maintaining offices on the high streets of the south’s towns where it has a base.

In August, Ian Robinson, and three trainee solicitors, Daniel Norris, Georgia Chandler, and Jonathan Rees, will be abseiling the Spinnaker Tower to raise money for Rowans Hospice and Beaulieu Respite.

As well as supporting a number of charities, including Harbour Cancer Support Centre, Marwell Zoo, and Dementia Friends, Churchers also contributes to the community through hosting free legal advice drop-in sessions across its offices.
