Personal finance comparison site finder.com has named Andover-headquartered Simplyhealth the winner of its Health Insurance Innovation Awards 2021.

Simplyhealth, a leading provider of health and dental plans, scooped the prestigious accolade for its digital health tracker, SimpleMe, its online wellbeing resources and its policy towards pre-existing conditions.

“We are delighted to have won the best Health Insurance Innovation award 2021,” said Pam Whelan, sales director at Simplyhealth. “We make it easy for more than three million people across the UK to access health products, services, and support, so they can get the help they need – when they need it.

“With the pandemic affecting all of us, we made online wellbeing resources available for free on our Healthy Living Hub and launched SimplyMe in October 2020 to add further value to our health plans.”

In other news, Simplyhealth announced that it has achieved Carbon Neutral+ status from March 2021 for 12 months with Carbon Footprint, an organisation that helps businesses to track and reduce their carbon emissions ‘at source’. The status was achieved by cutting carbon emissions and then offsetting the remaining emissions while supporting three international energy efficiency projects aimed at helping communities in other parts of the world.
