Reading-based Landmark Quest, a leading provider of risk management, mobile solutions and bespoke software for lenders and surveyors, has been named the ‘Technology Provider of the Year UK’ at the prestigious 2013 FSTech Awards.

The awards, which recognise excellence and innovation in the field of IT within the UK and EMEA financial services sector, presented the award to Landmark Quest in recognition of the way the firm has re-engineered the survey and valuation business of many of the UK’s banks and building societies. This includes its latest innovation, Q-Mobile, which enhances productivity for surveyors while delivering cost savings and improved audit in the mortgage valuation process.

Mark Milner, CEO of Landmark Information Group, said: “Many congratulations to the team for triumphing at the 2013 FSTech Awards. To be recognised at this major industry event for the innovations we have delivered in mortgage lending over the years is a fantastic achievement and one that we should all be very proud of.”

As the first organisation to fully adopt the Q-Mobile property data capture solution, e.surv Chartered Surveyors attended the FSTech Awards with Landmark Quest. Richard Sexton, director, business development of e.surv, said: “As a development and launch partner of Q-Mobile, e.surv is delighted that Quest’s hard work and innovation have been recognised with the Technology Provider of the Year award. Quest responded to our desire to innovate with a jointly-developed solution that we believe will be a game changer for our industry in terms of quality and consistency; something which in turn our own clients demand. We look forward to further evolving this best-in-class solution with our partners at Landmark Quest.”

Added Liam Parker, product development director at Landmark Quest: “We work in partnership with our surveying and lending clients to deliver software solutions that not only create efficiencies and improve daily workflow for those operating in the mortgage valuation field, but also support risk management strategies and deliver improved audit capability to the industry. We are therefore extremely proud to be recognised by the judges of the FSTech Awards for our ongoing efforts.”
