Experienced quantity surveyor Patrick Osman, from Bassett, has been appointed senior quantity surveyor at Fareham-based Amiri Construction.

It is 15 years since Patrick completed his two years' training and he has since worked for various construction companies including Brymor Construction for the last four years.

Grahame Pettit, managing director of Amiri Construction, said Osman’s appointment is part of its recruitment programme to meet the demand for new-build projects across Southern England.

“We are on target to turn over £25 million this year with a vast range of contracts gained across market sectors including education, industrial and general commercial sectors," he said. "Patrick will play an important role in the on time on budget delivery of these projects to our clients.”

Amiri was founded by directors Grahame Pettit and Kevin Lendon in 2004 and has recruited five personnel this year to increase its team to 30.
