Reading based law firm Blandy & Blandy raised over £5,000 for Babies in Buscot Support (BIBS) and the Royal Berks Charity.

The donations were raised at a quiz night for the two NHS-focused, Royal Berkshire Hospital based charities.

The event welcomed other leading firms and businesses, Barclays, Barton Willmore Now Stantec, BDO, Beaufort Financial, Crowe, Handelsbanken, Haslams Chartered Surveyors, Hicks Baker, James Cowper Kreston, Kempton Carr Croft, KRE Corporate Recovery, Lichfields, NatWest, Nexus Planning, Quantuma, RSM, Savills, Vail Williams and Vale & West.

The quiz was won by accountancy and business advisory firm, BDO, who received bottles of English sparkling wine from Stanlake Park and trophies.

Blandy & Blandy’s chairman and partner Nick Burrows said: “We were very pleased to be able to get together with so many of our professional colleagues from the Thames Valley business community for a really enjoyable evening.

"We were also absolutely delighted that the evening raised over £5,000 for the two charities that we are currently supporting – the Royal Berks Charity and Babies in Buscot Support (BIBS). Our thanks go to all those who contributed by taking tables, buying raffle tickets and bidding in our silent auction.”
