The appointments follow the recent recruitment of Jamie Vinall to the firm's Cheltenham office, who joined as audit director in April.

"We see great opportunity for growth in the region," said Andrew Browne, head of tax.

"The opening of our Cheltenham office in 2023 and subsequent investment in people is testament to our focus on ambitious growth targets across the Midlands and South West. We are pleased not only to strengthen our presence in Cheltenham but also expand the range of specialist services we can offer to our private clients.

"I look forward to working with Iona and Zoe and drawing upon their experience and knowledge to help realise our ambitions during this exciting journey."

Iona Martin said: "By growing its presence in Cheltenham, the firm is well-positioned to provide a top-quality offering while still maintaining a local knowledge and understanding, which can be invaluable to our clients.

"Bishop Fleming’s commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace aligns with my personal ideals, so I am excited to play my part in making the firm’s growth ambitions a reality in line with its commitment to core values and culture."

Zoe added: "Iona and I will be working closely with our colleagues across Bishop Fleming’s eight UK offices to build and strengthen our private client practice and bolster our national offering."
