Wiltshire: Arkivum announces new vice president

Arkivum, the leading provider of long-term assured digital archiving solutions, has appointed Steve Mackey to lead the company’s channel sales and partner organisation initiatives.

Mackey joins from Spectra Logic, a storage vendor specialising in long-term archiving, where he was responsible for all business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

An engineering and marketing graduate with over 17 years’ experience in the storage industry, he has held a number of business, product marketing and sales management positions during his tenures with IBM, DEC, Grau, ADIC and Quantum.

“Steve’s wealth of experience across sales, product marketing and business management will be invaluable in defining and delivering Arkivum’s strategy for developing and building our partner community,” commented CEO Jim Cook.
