TrustID relocates to The Blade in Reading
TrustID, a Reading-based identity service provider (IDSP), is relocating to the town’s Blade skyscraper following recent growth.
Part of the need for extra space derives from TrustID’s position as one of the first IDSPs to be granted Home Office certification for its digital Right to Work, Right to Rent and Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
This, along with high employment rates, has meant an increase in Right to Work checks, with over 1100 organisations including recruitment agencies, NHS trusts and hospitality brands using TrustID to carry out pre-employment checks.
TrustID also partners with a number of Application Tracking System providers who carry out Right to Work checks as part of their service.

The firm is expecting to see an increase in business from October, when the government ends the temporary, covid-adjusted verification measures and will require Right to Work and Rent checks to be carried out by an IDSP.
This is in turn paving the way for the government’s roadmap for a digital future, which will see many public services digitised by 2025.
Tony Machin, CEO of TrustID said, “For us, this office move is a big step in our company’s development. TrustID is growing very quickly and is becoming one of the leading experts in the identity verification space.
“This office move will facilitate further growth and help us to continue to deliver our market leading products and customer service. We believe a lot of our success is down to being located in Reading where there is a great pool of talent to join our growing team.”
