The Business Magazine is publishing a special Focus on the South Coast Marine and Maritime Sector in our July/August issue.

The UK has the largest marine sector in Europe Employing more than 360,000 people and contributing £19 billion gross value added, with Hampshire being right at the heart. With 3,000 companies based here ranging from shipping, boat building and marine engineering to marine technology, cruise and leisure marine. Over 90% of the Uk’s visible trade moves by sea.

Hampshire’s South Coast location, innovative, supply chain, world leading research facilities and the UK’s premier university create a thriving marine sector.

It is also home to the Solent Enterprise Zone at Daedalus which is especially suited to advanced engineering businesses operating in the marine industry due to its coastal location, marine slipway and dedicated Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing and Advanced Skills Training (CEMAST)

With this combination of superior transport links, a premier maritime university and South Coast location including the 2nd largest container terminal in the UK contribute to the overall success of the UK marine sector.

To celebrate Hampshire’s global position and its ongoing growth, The Business Magazine is publishing a Focus on the South Coast Marine and Maritime Sector both in digital and print formats in the July/August 2018 issue.

The Focus is an ideal platform for businesses to champion the growth in the region and great services available.

This is a feature section where your company/organisation can be profiled to a print readership of 22,000, and digital readership of a further 20,400.

The feature section will be read by thousands of company directors, business owners, professionals and support agencies across the South Coast. It will be promoted by newsletter and social media, and made available as source material for your website.
