Bournemouth’s SCR Tracker acquired by Sign In Solutions
SCR Tracker, a Bournemouth-based software company, is one of two recent acquisitions made by US-based cloud-based visitor management and risk mitigation software provider Sign In Solutions.
As part of the acquisition SCR Tracker will soon be known as Sign In Central Record. The company enhances the safety provided to schools by ensuring the people coming on to the site have undergone the relevant background checks.
The other firm acquired is 10to8, soon to be rebranded Sign In Scheduling, which provides advanced scheduling capabilities that aim to engage the visitor long before their visit, reducing missed appointments.
"We are thrilled to welcome our new colleagues from SCR Tracker and 10to8,” said Dan Harding COO of Sign In Solutions. “We were a team of just twenty back in August 2021 and now we are two hundred strong, working from five countries as part of a truly global business.
“This confirms our commitment to evolving our technology and supporting our customers, including investing in specific sectors such as education and healthcare.”
Gary Le Sueur, CEO of SCR Tracker, said: “expanding into Visitor management was always a logical next step for us, to provide a full end-to-end solution for safeguarding where the Single Central Record is not an afterthought.
"By joining Sign In Solutions, we get to skip the build steps, and go straight to having a complete integration with a fantastic leading solution offering incredible value to all current and future customers.”

The acquisitions are the fifth and sixth made by Sign In Solutions in the past 18 months, backed by growth equity firm PSG.
Together, they will build on Sign In Solutions’ core visitor management platforms, Sign In App and Sign In Enterprise, and work towards the firm’s VM 2.0 vision, advanced workplace solutions deployed in more than 17,000 organisations around the world, from small primary schools to some top brands.
“The additional acquisitions of these two great platforms into the Sign In Solutions’ suite of products, helps us get ever closer to our VM 2.0 vision. We are committed to empowering organizations of all sizes to help them mitigate risk, optimize employee engagement and welcome visitors efficiently," said Dave Brown, President of Sign In Solutions.
“Visitor management continues to evolve at a rapid rate; we are listening to our customers, and they are requesting tools and insights to support them in the ever-changing workspace.”
Jeff Gordon, CEO of Sign In Solutions, said: “When I set out the vision for the next generation of visitor management, it was clear to me that the current offerings on the market did not deliver what the modern workplace demands.
“The acquisitions over the last twelve months have accelerated our core platform capabilities to continue adding value and supporting what our customers need.”
