Reading cyber firm Bridewell gets gold accreditation from Investors in People

Bridewell, the Reading-based cyber security services company, has been handed the "We invest in people" gold accreditation by community interest company 'Investors in People'.

Bridewell has proved its credentials in employee engagement, communication, organisational culture and work practices, according to the latter's assessment.

Bridewell delivers large-scale transformational projects in highly regulated environments. It provides services across critical national infrastructure, aviation, financial services, government and oil and gas.

The accreditation for Bridewell comes as half of UK businesses have a basic cyber skills gap, according to a UK government report last year.

In critical national infrastructure (CNI), which handles systems vital to the functioning of society, over a third (36%) also state that they do not have the right skills in place to secure their IT deployments, highlighting the need for specialist support from engaged cyber consultants.
