Novatech, the Portsmouth-based IT partner, will become a preferred solutions and services provider for Universities and Colleges in the South of England and London after being awarded a place in a technology consortium.

The Servers, Storage and Solutions National Agreement (SSSNA) is managed by the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) which includes Oxford and Cambridge, as well as several other Russell Group Universities including in London, as part of the UK Universities Purchasing Consortia.

The SSSNA provides an approved vendor list for the procurement of IT infrastructure, maintaining a competitive advantage for the Higher Education sector for the pricing of IT assets, along with making it easier and quicker for IT managers and Chief Technology officers to deliver projects.

The tender process to become an approved supplier can take up to a year, and emphasises sustainability. By demonstrating its ability under the required criteria, Novatech has become one of only 13 suppliers within Lot 5 of the framework (Reseller Solutions).
