Integrated security solutions manufacturer TDSi has appointed Gary Aimson as its new strategic business development manager and Sophie Wilkins as marketing assistant, to facilitate its ongoing growth.

Managing director John Davies commented: “With TDSi’s accelerated levels of growth and expansion in the security market, it is vital that this is focused and that all opportunities, whatever the vertical market, are explored and thoroughly exploited. Equally, with our expanding portfolio of products and services it is vital that we are able to keep our customers and partners abreast of the latest developments - so we are also growing our marketing team to match the considerable demands of our flourishing business.”

Gary Aimson joins from Reliance High Tech, where he was corporate solutions manager, following business development roles at Vindex Systems and Chubb Electronic Security.

Adam Norris, director of UK sales at TDSi, commented: “Gary is one of the best relationship builders I have ever worked with. It is testament to his skill that his external customers always think of him as one of their own team. Undoubtedly his skill in making internal resources work to benefit his customers as well as his own team will be hugely beneficial at TDSi and he is the perfect choice to continue our ambitious growth plans moving forward.”

Sophie Wilkins joins as a business and management graduate from Bournemouth University. TDSi’s marketing manager Sarah Phillips commented: “We like to nurture local talent and Sophie had exactly the right blend of drive and determination as well as the academic training that we were looking for. She is further developing our social media profile, events programming and partner marketing support.”

The continued expansion of the TDSi team follows the also-recent appointments of new graduate software developer, Thomas Bird, and senior export technical support engineer, Kevan Fry.

Other new recruits over the past few months include officer manager Kathryn Sutcliffe and exports customer care adviser Jody Hayter.
