BOFA International, Poole-based global leaders in industrial fume and dust extraction systems, has appointed Geoff Hamilton as international sales manager to support the company’s rapidly growing success in overseas markets.

Hamilton has more than 20 years’ industry experience in senior international sales roles and will focus on developing sales in all BOFA markets, other than North America, where the company operates through BOFA Americas, a subsidiary business.

In his new role, Hamilton will identify and engage with new clients to develop long-term relationships through managing and interpreting their needs and will support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events around the world.

He commented: “I first became involved with BOFA in 2016 and was immediately impressed with the company’s innovative portfolio of systems and its ambitious growth plans, so I am delighted now to have the opportunity to contribute to the future success of the business in existing and emerging territories.”

BOFA is the acknowledged market leader in portable fume and dust extraction technology and currently exports 90% of its systems to 120 countries around the world. The company’s technologies remove potentially harmful airborne contaminants from workplace environments while simultaneously helping customers optimise productivity.
