Oxford Technology Park filling space with new lease announcement
Life science real estate investment trust Life Science REIT has announced that two units at Oxford Technology Park (OTP) are being leased to clinical research and diagnostic solutions company Oxford Gene Technology.
Oxford Gene Technology is renting 10,765 sq. ft of space at the park's Innovation Quarter. This letting takes all completed space at OTP, let or under offer, to 75 per cent.
This letting comes at a pivotal time for Oxford Technology Park's Innovation Quarter, as it reached practical completion this week and also received a BREEAM Excellent certification and an EPC A rating.
The Innovation Quarter itself occupies a total of 69,400 sq ft and is built to accommodate both Wet and Dry labs.

xford Gene Technology, part of the Sysmex Corporation,was founded in 1995 and has expanded rapidly, outgrowing its current space on the neighbouring Begbroke Science Park. It will pay an annual rent of £220,000 for its 10 year term at Oxford Technology Park.
