Guildford's EVC secures £165m chargepoint funding

Guildford-based EVC has been awarded £165 million by Denham Sustainable Infrastructure (DSI).

The funds will be used to support the delivery of up to 100,000 chargepoints by 2027, with a focus on offering convenient methods to charge electric vehicles integrated into local communities.

EVC funds and installs chargepoints in projects ranging from individual chargers through to larger EV charging hubs under long-term contractual lease agreements at sites including hospitality, leisure and retail venues, workplaces and multi-dwelling residential units.
