Electric vehicle charger company Simpson & Partners reports strong momentum
Simpson & Partners, a new British-owned electric vehicle home charging manufacturer based in Wiltshire, has reported strong growth since production started in June 2021.
The Malmesbury-based company shipped its 3,000th product in May 2023 and has been quietly gaining momentum, primarily in the local area. It is now preparing to scale production to cater to increased demand, with UK deliveries of electric vehicle reaching a record monthly high of 46,626 in March 2023.
The brand’s first products, The Home Series, include a trio of beautifully designed wall boxes that are smaller than an A4 sheet of paper and engineered using high-quality materials that are reliable and built to last. Since launch, the product portfolio has expanded to include a new Wireless Solar Monitor and Cable Hook.

All the chargers are designed and manufactured from a state-of-the-art 6,000sq. metre facility, the equivalent of two tennis courts, with a maximum capacity of 5,000 units per month. This enables Simpson & Partners to create high-quality products at affordable prices – units start at £649.
Innovative technologies such as 3D printing, quality small-scale anodising and in-house spraying help to create significant cost savings which the customer benefits from. Each unit is designed to match the understated elegance of the local surroundings with 107 colour combinations.
These are powder coated in-house with caps machined from anodized solid aluminium billet or structurally stable Accoya Wood from sustainable FSC-certified forests.
The firm recently donated a unit to the local secondary school raffle which raised more than £1,000 towards a volunteering trip to Ghana.

Mandy Simpson, co-founder, says “We’ve been quietly building our reputation as a specialist EV charger manufacturer in the Cotswolds. We are all about bringing build quality to the British-made tech market. Our challenge is to reset expectations of what you get for your money, giving our customers a timeless design with reliable, proven software that doesn’t cost the earth.”
“We know that EVs are the future,” adds David Simpson, co-founder, “so we also know that EV chargers should stand the test of time. Our chargers are built to be architectural accessories, not car accessories.
"Whilst they are intelligently managing your home and vehicle energy, they are also adding to the aesthetic value of your home.”
