Jonathan Gale, CEO of NewVoiceMedia, a Basingstoke-based cloud contact centre vendor, has been shortlisted in the ‘CEO of the Year’ category of the Digital Masters Awards 2014.
The Awards celebrate the UK’s finest senior talent in the industry and are set to become the gold standard for excellence in the digital disciplines. It is the first event of its kind to showcase the dedicated executives responsible for delivering the innovation and economic growth that are the hallmarks of the UK’s digital revolution.

Gale joined NewVoiceMedia in October 2010 as chief commercial officer to manage sales, marketing and product strategy, and was appointed chief executive officer just four months later. With more than 20 years’ experience building technology businesses, he is committed to innovating ahead of the competition and outpacing the market and, under his leadership, NewVoiceMedia is growing at more than twice the rate of the rapidly-expanding cloud contact centre market.

The company now serves thousands of agents in 40 countries on five continents, including Parcelforce, PhotoBox, Truphone and Topcon Positioning Systems. NewVoiceMedia’s ContactWorld solution integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, enabling businesses of all sizes to deliver a personalised and unique customer experience and drive a more effective sales and marketing team.

Said Gale: “It is an honour to be shortlisted for this award. I have been very fortunate in leading an incredibly dedicated and talented team, each member of which has played a core role in the success and rapid growth of our business. We are growing significantly ahead of the market and our competition, which is helping us attract the very best people who share our vision of using cloud technology to enhance the customer experience in today’s contact centres”.

Robert Swerling, co-CEO of The Up Group and founder of the awards, added: “The Digital Masters Awards reward those who have truly excelled in their respective functions. Jonathan was shortlisted as the judges were impressed with the extraordinary results he has achieved over the past 12 months. To be named on the shortlist by such a distinguished panel is a mark of enduring excellence, a recognition that he is among the very best in the world at what he does”.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on June 18.
