Navigating the world of business in just one market can be challenging enough, but having the ability to navigate multiple markets on an international scale can be hugely rewarding.

As we get closer to the SKS 250’s private event and awards ceremony, we’re on the hunt for the winner of our International Business Award (sponsored by HSBC UK).

Before we present this award to a worthy winner at The RAC Club – Woodcote Park on the 29th of June 2023, we’ve put together a list of 10 successful international companies on the SKS 250 listing with a good chance of taking home the trophy.

10. Saywell International

Founded in 1946, Saywell International has been expanding its business on a global scale for more than 70 years. With offices in the UK, USA, Canada and Singapore, it is now one of the largest independent aviation parts distributors in the world. Holding strong relationships with many leading aerospace component manufacturers and covering every aspect and sector of the aerospace market, Saywell International is a long-established international success.

9. Network Aviation Group

Though its global HQ is situated in Crawley, West Sussex, the Network Aviation Group boasts offices across 4 continents. Since its establishment in 1985, the group has grown to represent 33 airlines, shipping more than 80,000 tonnes of cargo each year. This global reach and level of influence earns the Network Aviation Group its strong spot on the SKS 250 listing.

8. Avtrade

As the world’s ‘largest independent aviation component services provider’, Hassocks-based Avtrade works in conjunction with more than 800 airlines. Operating primarily in London, Dubai, Singapore, Miami and Guangzhou, Avtrade is a clear staple of international success on the SKS 250 listing.

7. Creative Distribution

Creative Distribution is a market leader in the interactive entertainment industry. Not only does it operate out of many bases in the UK and India, but it is also the parent company to several successful subsidiaries. Recent attempts to open a warehouse in Hungary have been complicated by the effects of Brexit, allowing Creative Distribution to demonstrate its professionalism in the face of international adversity.

6. Newport Industries

In the last 25 years, Newport Industries has managed to expand its global network to include offices in London, Shanghai and Miami. With more than 250 clients worldwide, the chemical and raw-materials distributor is renowned for delivering ‘speed, quality and consistency’.
