Southampton’s Moore Blatch has made three key promotions, making two of its solicitors partners and promoting another member of staff to partner status.
Senior solicitor Katherine Maxwell has been with the firm for nearly seven years and has headed up the employment department for the last 18 months. She works across all aspects of employment law, including disciplinary matters and dismissals, redundancy, TUPE and Employment Tribunal applications.
Mark Osgood, who joined Moore Blatch as a solicitor in 2004, has wide-ranging experience in dispute resolution, with particular focus on commercial and insolvency litigation and professional negligence.
Meanwhile, senior trusts and tax manager Andy Kirby, who has 20 years’ experience in taxation including eight with Moore Blatch, is promoted to partner status. Andy is
responsible for all matters relating to taxation as well as drafting wills, estate planning and creating and breaking trusts.
Managing partner David Thompson said: “Katherine, Mark and Andy have each made an extremely valuable contribution to the firm and we are delighted to be able to recognise their work with these promotions.
“The move will strengthen and consolidate both the commercial and the private client divisions and provide us with a stronger platform from which to move forward.”
