NATS, the UK’s leading air traffic management provider, has announced the appointment of Mike Culver to the post of general manager at Southampton Airport.
Culver is currently Head of Customer Affairs and is due to take up his new role in May. He succeeds Iain Harris, who is being appointed Head of Engineering for the company’s airport and commercial division.
Brandon Chapman, Director Airports and Air Traffic Services, said: “Southampton is a leading airport for central southern England, having seen the introduction of a number of new routes and record passenger growth. Mike’s leadership skills and commitment to customer relations will ensure that NATS continues to support the airport with a first class air traffic control service.”
Culver said: “I am delighted to be joining Southampton and look forward to working with the highly skilled and professional team who I know will continue to deliver a safe and efficient service.”
Culver joined NATS in 2003 having previously worked within the airline industry.
