Sapey Golf and Country Club, Upper Sapey in Worcestershire is being marketed for sale by Savills.

Available as one or two individual businesses, Lot 1 comprises an 18 hole golf course and clubhouse, which spans approx. 8,797 sq ft and is being marketed for a guide price of £1.25 million. Lot 2 comprises a 9 hole golf course and four holiday lodges and has a guide price of £550,000.

Located within 108 acres of former agricultural land, Sapey Golf and Country Club was established in 1990, and provides an 18-hole golf course on 86 acres. The business was later enhanced by addition of a 9-hole par 3 course on an adjoining 22 acres, which today also accommodates four holiday lodges.

Acquired by its current proprietors in July 2017, the clubhouse offers space for weddings and events. Its recent two-story extension has significantly enlarged the golf professional shop with golf simulator studio, added a versatile new meeting room, and extended the balcony, offering views over the golf course.

Sapey Golf and Country Club is located amidst the undulating hills of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are also nearby, providing an idyllic setting that enhances the overall golfing experience.

Kay Griffiths, director in leisure and trading at Savills, said: "Sapey Golf and Country Club offers a well presented property and business in a spectacular location, making it an attractive asset for potential buyers. The current owners have invested heavily in the facility, creating a multipurpose venue, and there is further potential to enhance the function business with the recent addition of the wedding licence and to develop additional lodges, subject to obtaining planning permission.”
