AEW UK South East Office Fund has let approximately 9,500 sq ft at its Rubra One office scheme at Mulberry Business Park in Wokingham to accountancy software provider TaxCalc. The deal represents the largest letting in Wokingham in recent years.

The software occupier is moving from Winnersh to take the entire ground floor and part of the first floor of the refurbished two-storey office building, meaning Rubra One is now fully let.

Mulberry Business Park, situated within walking distance of Wokingham station, incorporates 200,000 sq ft of offices. Since AEW acquired Rubra One, together with neighbouring buildings Rubra Two and Alba, back in 2015, there is now only one 3,486 sq ft suite at Alba available to let.

AEW’s Michael Shears said: “We are delighted to have attracted TaxCalc to Rubra One. AEW’s investment in the asset is paying dividends and Mulberry Business Park’s prime location means it continues to appeal to a range of office occupiers.”

Fryer Commercial and Hanover Green acted for AEW.
