Woking: Goya/Bilsdale get consent for warehouse development
Goya Developments, working with Bilsdale Properties, has obtained consent for development of a 75,907 sq ft industrial-warehouse scheme to be named Orchard Business Park at the former Alent Site in Woking. The park will comprise six units ranging between 7,061 sq ft and 41,097 sq ft.
The scheme will be aimed at local and national businesses for trade counter, warehousing and manufacturing uses. Demolition is already complete and contractors will start at the site next month with practical completion in January 2017. Goya Developments and Bilsdale Properties will offer the units on a leasehold basis and they are already in discussion with a number of potential occupiers about pre-let opportunities.
Jim Bryan, founder of Goya Developments, said: “We are very excited to be developing a new high quality industrial scheme in Woking, utilising the latest energy reducing technologies.”
Gerald Eve, Reddin-Clancy and JLL will be the marketing agents.
