AEW South East Office Fund has acquired two properties in Theale from Theale Estates for an undisclosed amount.

The recent transaction comprises Commerce Park, a 27,000 sq ft industrial estate arranged across 10 units in two terraces, and multi-let to seven tenants; and Merlin House, a two-storey, detached office building which fronts Brunel Road and provides 39,206 sq ft of office space, the majority of it let on a serviced basis.

Haslams Surveyors and Bray Fox Smith represented Theale Estates throughout while AHBN acted on behalf of AEW.

Roger Reid, associate at Haslams, said: "Commerce Park and Merlin House have always been popular due to their excellent car-parking provision and proximity to Theale train station."
