Davis Tate, the estate agents, has acquired Maidenhead and Reading-based Appleton Estate Agents.

Sarah Akkus, the founding director of Appleton Estate Agents, provides a personalised property service in Cookham, Marlow, Burnham, Maidenhead, Twyford and Reading.

Davis Tate, established by Matthew Davis and David Tate in 1991 continues to grow from its nine office Berkshire and Oxfordshire network, and the inclusion of the Appleton portfolio is an addition to the firm's established Reading and Twyford offices, whilst enabling the firm to offer both lettings and sales to the Maidenhead and Marlow markets.

Davis Tate now let and manage more than 1,400 local properties, with a dedicated management and accounts team providing services to landlords and tenants alike.
