The Thames Valley Property Awards has been postponed because of coronavirus. The new date for the popular event is September 3.
The TVPA dinner at Ascot Racecourse was scheduled for April 30 but organiser The Business Magazine has confirmed that it is in everyone's best interests to postpone until the autumn.
"The health and wellbeing of all our guests, sponsors and employees is the paramount concern. We appreciate that many people will have been looking forward to the event next month, but it's prudent to take the decision now to postpone in light of the ever-changing coronavirus crisis," said David Murray, managing director, The Business Magazine.
"The property sector has been postponing and cancelling events throughout the UK. The impact of coronavirus on the sector is profound, but we have no doubt that we will be delivering a great event for commercial and residential property people in September."
All table bookings and sponsorships for TVPA will be honoured for the new date.
The venue and presenter remain unchanged. Alistair McGowan, the actor, comedian and impressionist, will compere the evening.
