Canon has launched a 125,000 sq ft office requirement in the Thames Valley ahead of lease breaks over the next two and three years.
Canon is being advised by Dutch property consultancy Recreations and is understood to have already looked at options at Stockley Park and Uxbridge.
The group occupies around 140,000 sq ft in two buildings at Stockley Park.
It has a lease assignment of around 93,000 sq ft at 3 The Square from Centrica. The building is owned by BMO Real Estate and the lease expires in 2019. It also leases around 48,000 sq ft at 6 Roundwood at Stockley Park on a lease expiring in 2018.
The building is owned by Kennedy Wilson.
Market sources suggested likely options as being Rockspring Property Investment Managers, Clearbell Capital and Exton Estates freshly launched The Bower, a 140,000 sq ft office HQ at Stockley Park, Landid and Brockton Capital's 244,000 sq ft the Charter Building in Uxbridge, and Aviva Investors' 125,000 sq ft Belmont in Uxbridge.
