East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) has appointed Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell and Wadham & Isherwood as joint agents to market its new mixed-used development currently under construction in the centre of Liphook.
Ordnance Business Park, located on Midhurst Road, Liphook is a joint venture between EHDC and the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership to provide much needed business premises on the former Ordnance supply unit site (OSU).
EHDC is looking to become one of the country’s most business-friendly councils and this project is another indication of that ambition. Once occupied, the three buildings will generate rental income which will be reinvested in local economic development projects and contribute towards the Council's plans to be financially independent.
With completion expected in November 2017, Ordnance Business Park comprises two office buildings and a block of three industrial warehouse units. The offices will benefit from their own toilets and kitchen area. There will also be a passenger lift and shower facilities in Block 2.
Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell director Stuart Mitchell commented: “The plans for the new Ordnance Business Park have been well received locally and there is plenty of interest in both the office and industrial units currently under construction. With very little speculative development across East Hampshire, this mixed use development is a welcome addition to the commercial market.”
