The investment interest of an office building in Chippenham which is currently home to technology provider SSS Ltd is currently up for sale.

The investment interest of an office building in Chippenham which is currently home to technology provider SSS Ltd has been put up for sale.

Building B1 Methuen South is a self-contained property arranged over ground and first floors. SSS Ltd recently signed up to a five-year lease on the site at £16,00 per square foot, advised by Swindon’s Whitmarsh Lockhart.

Paul Williams, Director at Avison Young, said: “Methuen South is situated on one of Chippenham’s best business parks, offering modern, flexible office space in a landscaped setting and close to a range of local amenities. We were therefore not surprised it appealed to an occupier such as SSS Ltd who were looking for high quality accommodation of this nature.”

Miles Cross, Director at Whitmarsh Lockhart, said: “Our clients were seeking open plan office space in Chippenham to support the growth of their business and new ways of working following the covid pandemic, and B1 Methuen South fit the bill perfectly. They are delighted with the property and location.“

Richard Howell, Director in the Capital Markets team, who is handling the sale of the building, said: ‘’It is unusual to find a building of this size and quality coming up for sale in Chippenham with a strong tenant covenant and we expect it to appeal to a range of potential purchasers seeking this type of investment opportunity.’’
