Southampton: Two new faces for JLL’s professional advisory team
JLL’s lease advisory and commercial valuation services team led by Steven Farndell, who has worked at JLL as a director for 12 years, is being expanded by two new appointments which will help it in offering companies advice on any aspect of commercial leases and property valuations.
Rebecca Newton joins as lead director from QinetiQ, a defence and technology company. Having worked for a number of large organisations, she brings a wealth of asset management experience to the team.
Claire Elderfield has been appointed associate director. She worked previously at property company Goadsby, CBRE and Bilfinger GVA.
Michael Green, head of JLL’s office in Southampton, said: “Rebecca and Claire’s arrival to the team signifies our decision to significantly grow this part of the business in the south of England. We have now added 10 new surveyors to our team over the past 12 months alone, and will be announcing further appointments shortly.”
Newton said: “I’ve spent a lot of time in my previous roles advising major corporates on all areas of freehold and leasehold asset management and I’m looking forward to applying this expertise for the benefit of JLL’s clients.”
Elderfield said: “JLL’s client base is impressive and I’m looking forward to helping grow the business and build relationships within the team and with our clients.”
The team’s existing clients include Royal Mail, Shell, Winchester City Council, HCA, RBS, Barclays, Santander and Lloyds.
