Law firm Moore Blatch has announces the appointment of Archie Sherbrooke as partner specialising in commercial property. He joins from Charles Russell Speechlys LLP.

With an emphasis on investment transactions including acquisitions and disposals of multi-let buildings, hotels and retail property, Sherbrooke has acted for a diverse range of clients including UK institutional property and investment funds, trusts, banks, corporate occupiers, family offices, charities and overseas investors.

David Thompson, managing partner at Moore Blatch said: “Archie’s wide-ranging experience will complement our existing commercial property team which has been extremely busy recently. It’s a sector that will continue to see high volumes of transactions as buyers and sellers position themselves for a post-Brexit world.”

Sherbrooke said: “Over the past 18 months, Moore Blatch’s commercial property department has advised on several very high-profile transactions. Given the dynamics of commercial property I expect a busy time as institutional investors look at their portfolios and smaller buyers look to capitalise on any opportunities that may be presented.”
