South Coast commercial property specialists at Lambert Smith Hampton have secured the sale of a 31,104 sq ft warehouse unit on behalf of Pensworth – The Dairy Company.
The successful purchaser of Imperial House in Empress Road, Southampton, was chosen following a sale process which attracted a number of interested potential owners.
The sale includes the warehouse unit on a 2.6-acre site with office building, loading canopy, workshop and secure yard. John Shannessy of Ellis and Partners in Bournemouth acted on behalf of the private buyer.
Dan Rawlings, senior surveyor – industrial at LSH, said: “This was a hotly-contested sale, with enquiries driven by a general lack of land and freehold opportunities in the region. The buyer has significant plans for Imperial House, which will be announced later this year.”
